VA Resources and TipsYou know you want to be your own boss, but where do you start? How do you start? How do you know you’re taking the right path, making the right decisions in the right order? Here I share tips and how-tos, some FREE, that have worked in my business to guide you on your journey to start and run your own successful virtual assistant business.
Below are a list of tools I use in my VA business that you too might find useful.Affordable, reliable web hosting from these Cardiff based guys. They’re there to help with queries at any time. An exceptional service. I can’t recommend them enough. Toggl is an easy to use online time tracking tool. Download reports as and when required to let your clients know how many hours they’ve used. Canva makes designing graphics, memes, flyers and posters so easy. I couldn’t run my business without it. LastPass will be something you’ll endlessly recommend to your clients. It’s a vault to hold all your passwords in one place. If you download anything today, make it this. Google Drive: Ditch your Hotmail account and get yourself a Gmail email address. Once done you can save, share and edit all your documents in Google Drive. You won’t look back!
‘Why isn’t it all free’? Good question. Because, despite being very lucky doing a job I absolutely love, like you I need to earn money – I’d be on the streets otherwise. I am not an advocate of giving too much away for free, it cheapens experience and knowledge. Would you be willing to work for free in your VA business?
